Club Rules

 

1. All state and federal game rules are to be followed.
2. All members will abide by the Temple-Inland lease agreement. This agreement forbids nailing into any merchantable timber.
3. Club dues are $850.00 annually. Dues are due on May 1st of each year. Dues are payable by check or money order.
4. If your dues are not received before May 7th any paid member may claim your hunting spot.
5. If your electricity payments are over due, we will not accept club dues until electricity is paid in full.
6. Any member with camper on property is responsible for paying electricity dues $200.00 as well as a $100.00 camp spot by May 1st of each year. If not paid by this time your spot will be available to members who have paid. (new rule).
7. No children under the age of 15 are allowed in camp un-chaperoned.
8. Members may bring any child under the age of 17 hunting as long as Club, Temple and Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations are adhered to. Any deer taken on this weekend will go against members' quota.
9. Children that turn 18 before May 1st are full pay members.
10. Guests are allowed in camp at any time.
11. One guest per member allowed for squirrel, duck, and hog hunting only.
12. All members will have their membership card on person while on lease.
13. All vehicles will display the membership decal when on the lease.
14. Memberships are non-transferable.
15. If any member cancels his membership after June 1st, there will be no refunds of fees.
16. No permanent or temporary buildings may be constructed or placed on the lease without the approval of the majority of the club members and Temple-Inland Corporation.
17. There will be NO LITTERING, and everyone is responsible for disposal of his or her own garbage.
18. Dogs are allowed for squirrel and ducks in specified seasons determined by Texas Parks and Wildlife and Bear Creek Hunting Club rules. All dogs must be kept on leash while in camping area.
19. Any new or moved blinds must be 500 yards apart. No member shall use any blind not belonging to him without the owners' permission. All new members and anyone else needing assistance with stand placement should contact a board member or a member of the Stand Committee (upon election by membership). The board will also resolve all disputes over stand placement. Board Members will also assist in travel trailer placements.
20. Two (2) stands per member.
21. When buying a deer blind from another member you must obtain a dated and signed receipt and present to the Stand Committee or Board of Directors.
22. One (1) Doe per member as long as permits are available until the last 10 days of season, then up to (2) does per member. Permits are kept in the Doe Box at the cleaning station.
23. All deer killed on this property are required to be brought in to weigh station and logged into Club Record Books as soon as taken. Failure to do this will be considered a violation of rules.
24. No limit on the number of hogs killed. Hogs may be trapped. Snares are legal for hunting hogs.
25. From Oct. 1st to Feb. 1st ATV's are to be used for hunting purposes only. Recreational use of ATV's in camp area is FORBIDDEN AT ALL TIMES.
26. Camping should be restricted to the perimeters of the lease and preferable in the designated campsites. All raw sewage MUST be contained at all times.
27. Members are required to report any trespassing to the Club Warden or Game Warden as soon as possible.
28. Any member caught violating the rules and regulations will be automatically suspended and forfeit the lease fee without recourse.
29. Should you have any suggestions for the club, please send them in writing to the address provided along with your name. No suggestions will be considered without a member name on them.
30. No hunting from vehicles or horses.
